Signup Page & Directions
If you have not already completed the online waiver (or, if you must CANCEL for any reason), please do that on the Sign Up Here tab. For directions to the hay packing location please see the BBB Directions tab.
You're welcome to bring vegetarian munchies and/or drinks, and there’s no obligation. If you have ingredients that Vegans can enjoy, we'll point them out and label them as well.
What to Bring, Wear, and NOT Wear on Packing Day
Please wear your old clothes and dress in layers for temperature changes and scratchy hay. A long-sleeved cotton shirt, high collar and pants at least are recommended. We also recommend wearing a dust mask which we have plenty of, along with gloves, Kleenexes and all supplies. Also feel free to bring your own, especially gloves, as we can run out. For those with known or suspected allergies, please take your prescribed or over-the-counter medication (e.g., two Benadryl or Claritin) in advance. Finally, please avoid wearing jewelry or bringing other personal items or electronics that can fall into the hay -- finding dropped items can be like looking for the proverbial needle in the proverbial haystack.
Hay is the most important component of a rabbit’s diet. Bunny's Best Bites (BBB) provides high-quality, locally-grown hays that pet bunnies love to eat. All profits from BBB sales go to the Rabbit Advocates Medical Fund, which helps pay for spays, neuters, and other veterinary expenses for pet and foster rabbits in need.
For those who wish, you’ll come away with an enjoyable day with fun and food, kind people and the satisfaction of doing a great job for a great cause. Your contributions provide high-quality food for rabbits and medical assistance for those in need, so your work is important and much appreciated.
Thank you again and Best Binkies!
